Composition no.5- Review

Topic:

The magazine published by your school’s English club is asking students to give opinions on the coursebooks they have been using. Write a review of a coursebook, giving your views on the following points:

• its content

• its design

• how well it prepares students for the exam

• how much it has helped you improve your English

Write your review in 140- 190 words in an appropriate style on the separate answer sheet.

Irina,

It’s a quite well written review  .

Couple of points to remember:

Grammar:

Make sure you proofread any composition you write in order to avoid any mistakes. You’ve got few spelling mistakes within the review, however these do not prevent from understanding the context.

There are few more serious grammar mistakes such as.. I will be use – it’s the future continuous, so it should be: I will be using…or you’ve mixed, I think, past with present a bit ( I pass the FCE- should be I passed ..)

Coherence:

Your paragraphs are written in a well organised and logical structure. I feel though, that you could have added more details about how the book had helped you improve English. Indeed, you’ve written a bit about that, but next time try to include some examples.
